- Ko Phi Phi - Mu Ko Phi Phi (Phi Phi Islands) is an archipelago, formerly called Pulao Piah Pi. The sea that surrounds it is the habitat of various underwater anemones, coral reefs and colorful marine organisms. The area is also a popular snorkeling destination. Attractions of Mu Ko Phi Phi:
- Ko Phi Phi Don (Phi Phi Don island) - has an area of 28 square kilometers. Popular attractions are the twin bays with curved beaches of Ao Ton Sai and Ao Lo Da Lam.
- Ko Phi Phi Le - Spanning 6.6 square kilometers, Phi Phi Le Island is surrounded by limestone mountains and sheer cliffs that plummet hundreds of meters into the sea. The sea is 20 meters deep and the deepest point south of the island is about 34 meters. Ko Phi Phi Le has bays such as Ao Pi Le, Ao Maya and Ao Lo Sa Ma. In the northeastern part of the island there is a large cave called Tham Viking.

Thanks to the various ethnic and religious backgrounds present in Krabi, the locals always celebrate some religious holiday, be it part of the Thai Buddhist, Chinese or Islamic tradition. Visitors can also enjoy the annual sea gypsy launching ceremonies and various long-tail boat races.
- Krabi Boek Fa Andaman Festival (งาน กระบี่ เบิก ฟ้า อันดามัน) It is held annually in November to inaugurate the province's tourist season. Water sports competitions, cultural shows and healthy fun are on the program.
- Laanta Lanta party (เทศกาล ลาน ตา ลัน ตา) Usually the festival is held annually in March at the old community, of Ko Lanta, called the ancient city of Lanta, which has an ancient history over a hundred years. You can see houses in "ancient China" style. On this holiday, tourists can see traditional culture, never-before-seen ceremonial demonstrations, local southern performances, folk games and water sports competitions, and enjoy local flavors from different types of food stands provided by prestigious island hotels.
- Sat Duean Sip festival or tenth lunar month festival (งาน ประเพณี สาร ท เดือน สิบ) This is an opportunity, in the southern tradition, to honor someone's ancestors. Food offerings such as Khanom La, Khanom Chohu, Khanom Phong, Khanom Ba and Khanom Kong or Khai Pla are made to Buddhist monks.
- Chak Phra Festival (งาน ประเพณี ชักพระ) The original water procession, where images of Buddha are placed on elaborately decorated pulpits of boats being transported across the river, has been replaced by a land procession. In the past, the festival was accompanied by a performance of traditional boat songs. However, the traditional songs of sea voyages have since disappeared.
- Loi Ruea Chao Le Festival (ประเพณี ลอย เรือ ชาวเล) This ancient ritual tradition takes place on Ko Lanta during the full moon of the sixth and eleventh months in the lunar calendar. It is a religious ritual performed by the sea gypsies of Ko Lanta and neighboring areas, who gather on the beach near the village of Sala Dan. They dance their famous "rong ngeng" around the boats of misfortune to be sent adrift. The ceremonies have singing and dancing as protagonists. This holiday is thought to bring prosperity and happiness to the attendees.
What to do
In addition to its natural attractions, Krabi is also a popular spot for scuba diving, snorkeling, kayaking, mountain climbing, and jungle excursions on foot, mountain bike, or elephant. Popular kayaking spots include Ko Hong, Ko Karot, Ko Phak Bia, Ko Ku Du and Tha Len, while Tham Phra Nang and Hat Rai Le are a paradise for climbers from all over the world. Nowadays abseiling has become another popular sport in Krabi.
Located 35 kilometers from the provincial town, Ban Tha Len abounds with mangrove forests and ghost crabs. Tham Khangkhao or "bat cave" has impressive stalactites and stalagmites. There is a panoramic view of the sea, islands near the coast and Krabi's mangrove forests.
