Bandol is a french City in the department Var, in the region Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur.
background
The most famous citizens are the Lumiere brothers, who founded color photography and red / green stereoscopic photography and film here and who have produced many films, one of which also has Bandol in the title.
Just 100m away is south the island of Bendor, to be reached by boat in 7 minutes. The legacy of the industrialist Paul Richard offers a small museum of the same, 8000 bottles of wine and beautiful walks.
The second island from the same owner Les Embiez lies a few kilometers south and can be reached by boat from Le Brusc.
