• Saint-André Church  – Romanesque and Gothic style. The initial construction dates from the 12th^e century. The choir dates from 1555 and was restored in the 19th century.^e century. A fire destroyed part of the choir's sculpted stalls in 2007. The church houses the statue of Notre-Dame de Vassivière. Alpine skiing Downhill skiing represents 43 km spread over 27 slopes (5 green, 9 blue, 9 red and 4 black) between 1,300 and 1 800 m altitude, on the south-eastern slope of the Puy de Sancy, and served by 23 ski lifts providing a maximum flow of 22,000 skiers per hour: 1 20-seater funitel, 3 4-seater chairlifts, one of which has a boarding carpet, 2 fixed 2-seater chairlifts, 17 ski lifts and 320 snow cannons.
