In the street

By car

Via the autobahn Hanau - Fulda to the exit Waechtersbach/Bad Orb and then about 5 kilometers further on to Brachttal, the first place is Schlierbach.

With the electric car

At the town hall of the municipality of Brachttal there is a charging station for the Main-Kinzig district utilities. This is published on the website of Kreiswerke Main-Kinzig, others can be found under the map of GoingElectric.de to find.

By bicycle

The Brachttal runs through Vogelsberger Südbahnradweg. This runs from High Vogelsberg down to Wächtersbach. So you can go down from Vogelsberg to Brachttal. There is a charging station for e-bikes at the Wächtersbacher Keramik.

By bus & train

• Railway line Frankfurt - Hanau - Fulda and bus: Regional express trains run from Frankfurt to Fulda with double-decker cars. Get off at Wächtersbach station. Then you can take the MKK-71 or MKK-72 bus line. These run every hour between Waechtersbach-Schlierbach-Neuenschmidten-Birstein. In summer (beginning of May to end of October) the bus line VB-95 also runs via Bad Orb-Wächtersbach-Schlierbach-Neuenschmidten-Birstein-Hoherodskopf, the tariffs of the Rhein-Main transport association apply. The MKK-73 bus line, which runs at irregular intervals, connects Spielberg and Streitberg with Wächtersbach.

• As an alternative to the buses, taxis can also be used from Wächtersbach train station.
