The northwestern part the south african province Mpumalanga borders the province to the west Gauteng, in the north to the province Limpopo and in the south of that Cosmos Country and the region Grass and Wetlands.
Regions
Nkangala stands for Highveld, however, the district in the northwest of Mpumalanga comprises only a small part of this geographic region. He is touristy as Cultural Heartland denotes and means the settlement area of Ndebelewhich, however, extends beyond the borders of the region. The north of the region is around 900 m above sea level, towards the south the relatively flat land gradually rises to over 1,500 m above sea level. It is rich in mineral resources, hard coal and iron ore are mined in open-cast mining. In addition to the grazing of cattle and sheep, you can see fields with grain, maize and soy.
