By plane

  • Airport Wien-Schwechat: By car via the B9 to Fischamend, turn there onto the B60. With public transport, it is best to take an IC train to Vienna Central Station or Vienna Meidling and change there to the S60 to Wiener Neustadt (via Pottendorf).

  • The S-Bahn line S60 stops in Ebreichsdorf as well as in Weigelsdorf: Bruck an der Leitha - Himberg - Vienna Central Station - Vienna Meidling - Pottendorf - Ebenfurth - Wiener Neustadt Central Station
  • Regional express trains to Deutschkreutz (via Ebenfurth and Sopron) also stop in Ebreichsdorf, but not in Weigelsdorf. They also start in Vienna Central Station. Some courses start in Bratislava Petržalka and also keep in Kittsee, Parndorf, Bruck an der Leitha.
  • Travel time from Vienna Central Station to Ebreichsdorf approx. 30 minutes (regional express) or 45 minutes (S-Bahn). Fare from Vienna Meidling: Two zones of the IN FRONT (Verkehrsverbund Ost Region), that is 4.40 euros (as of Dec. 2015). Another zone has to be paid from Vienna main station if you do not have a network card for core zone 100 (Vienna).

As of 2015, there is no passenger traffic on the Gramatneusiedl - Unterwaltersdorf - Wampersdorf railway line.

  • 1 Ebreichsdorf Castle , Moated castle, built from 1294, destroyed during the Turkish siege in 1529 and then built in the Renaissance style on a bastioned pentagon in the middle of a pond.
