By plane

Falkenberg does not have an airfield. There is one in just 40 km away Halmstad. Halmstad is served by several German airports several times a week. Otherwise there is also the more distant airport of Gothenburg that is flown to more often.

By train

From Germany, rail ferry lines operate from Rostock/Sassnitz to Trelleborg. From there you can reach other trains in the direction of Falkenberg.   • S: t Laurentii Church, in the city center. The oldest parts of the church date from the 13th century. The name is derived from Laurentius. This is the patron saint of the craftsmen.
  • Tullbron Bridge. The so-called toll bridge. The bridge spans the Ätran River and is one of the best preserved in Sweden. On the southern part of the Tullbron there are remains of the Falkenberg Fortress, which was built at the end of the 12th century. However, only the excavated cellar of the fortification tower remains of the castle.
  • Falkenberg Museum. Largest museum in the city. This is located in an old granary in the harbor.
