- Castle. At the end of the 14th century Pier Maria Rossi enlarged and fortified the castle of Felino which had been built by the Marquis Luppone in 890. The Rossi were one of the most conspicuous families of Parma; possessed vast territories and came to have over forty fortresses and fortresses, many of which no longer exist but depicted in the Golden Chamber of the castle of Torrechiara.
The Reds held the castle of Felino for 133 years, until it was conquered by Ludovico il Moro who had the walls and fortifications demolished. The surviving castle, however, retains an image of power, with high walls overlooking the towers. At the time of Ludovico the oratory of San Pietro was built, still existing, in which the coats of arms of the families that succeeded one another in possession of the manor were frescoed. The dungeons date from the same period.
The chronicles recall a frequentation of the castle by Giovanni de 'Medici, said John of the Black Bands. In 1502 it was sold to the Pallavicinos, who left the field to the Sforza, who held it from 1540 to 1600. It was then owned by the Farnese, Lampugnani, Marquis du Tillot and Bishops of Parma families from 1775 to 1935. However, its history was now turned for the worst, so much so that a Bishop described it as in ruins and abandoned a mice, owls and bats.
Its fate changed from 1974 when it was bought by the current owners. After long restorations it was restored to its best aspect, the one that can be admired today. The castle has been in operation since 2004 Salami museum which presents the history and curiosity of the main product of the place: salami from Felino, quality sausage. The museum parallels the like Ham Museum of nearby Langhirano.

Itineraries
- Castles of the Duchy of Parma and Piacenza - Scattered over the Parma and Piacenza Apennines, but also present in the plain to guard the natural border of the Po, the numerous castles of the ancient Duchy of Parma and Piacenza characterize the whole area. Originally military bulwarks, many of them have kept the appearance of an inaccessible fortress, many have gradually transformed their war nature into a refined noble residence; all perpetuate over time the atmosphere of adventure, fairytale and legend that has always been linked to castles, many of which tell of the presence of spirits and ghosts.
