security
As at all airports in Egypt, security precautions are very important in Marsā ʿAlam. After the visa has been processed on arrival / arrival, the travel documents are checked.
When you leave, you have to pass several checks. First, the passport and travel documents are checked in the entrance hall of the departure area. After going through the metal detector sluice there is a short body search. The luggage is of course scanned or x-rayed with modern devices.
Drinks and other liquids such as drinking water are not allowed to be brought along; these must be thrown in the trash at the control. However, drinks can also be consumed on the spot.
At the checkpoints, passengers are treated neutrally but in a friendly manner.
