Port Ghalib (Arabic:بورت غالب‎, Būrt Ghālib) is an upscale holiday resort for international guests at the egyptian Coast of Red sea (Red Sea Riviera) about 60 kilometers north of Marsā ʿAlam, north of Marsā Mubārak Bay, and 75 kilometers south of el-Quṣeir. The place invites you to swim and dive.

The place, known mainly among divers up to now, is supposed to become a vacation paradise for tourists similar to the model of El Gouna be expanded and offer both hotels and apartments. Like Marsā ʿAlam Airport, the department is managed by the Kuwaiti investor group Mohamed Abdul Mohsin Al-Kharafi & Sons Company (MAK Group).

The official opening of the holiday resort took place on November 6th, 2009, which was attended by the R’n’B singer Beyoncé Knowles as part of their I Am… World Tour was called up.[1] The resort was originally due to be completed in 2023, to offer 23 hotels, 170 shops and living space for around 200,000 people, and to cost three billion US dollars. The work on the department is due to a lack of demand and the death of the company boss Nasser el-Kharafi on April 17, 2011[2][3] stalled, and so the area resembles a large construction site.
