Achterhoek - The eastern part of the province, an agricultural area known for its motocross festivals.
Rivierenland - Rhine, Waal and Meuse all pass through this region. It is mainly visited for Betuwe, an area well known for its fruit production.
Stadsregio Arnhem Nijmegen - One of the largest metropolitan areas outside the Randstad. There is a strong rivalry between the cities of Arnhem is Nijmegen (Nijmegen).
Urban centers
- Arnhem (Ernem or Arnheim) - It has one of the largest and most visited zoos in the Netherlands.
- Apeldoorn - Much of the territory of the municipality consists of nature and a slice lies in the De Hoge Veluwe National Park.

- Planken Wambuis - Nature reserve on the Veluwe, consisting of forests and moors. A part is still made up of shifting dunes.
