By plane

  • 1 Tortolì-Arbatax airport (IATA: TTB) (5 km from Girasole). Used until 2011 for tourist and charter flights, currently closed to passenger traffic.

By car

  • From Nuoro take the State Road 389 Var Nuoro-Lanusei, then after 51 km, turn left and take the Provincial Road 27. Villagrande Strisaili, turn right towards Tortolì, then after about twenty km, turn left and take the Strada Statale 198 of Seui and Lanusei towards Tortolì. Arrived here, do not enter the city but turn left and take the SS 125 Orientale Sarda road in the direction Olbia, after a few km, turn right towards Girasole.
  • From Golfo Aranci, Olbia is Siniscola take the state road 131 D.C.N. up to the main entrance of Nuoro. Once here, do not enter the city but follow the signs for Tortolì and take the State Road 389 Var Nuoro-Lanusei, then after 51 km, turn left and take the Provincial Road 27. Villagrande Strisaili, turn right towards Tortolì, then after about twenty km, turn left and take the Strada Statale 198 of Seui and Lanusei towards Tortolì. Once here, do not enter the city but follow the signs for Tortolì and take the State Road 389 Var Nuoro-Lanusei, then after 51 km, turn left and take the Provincial Road 27. From the port of Tortolì-Arbatax, 6 km from Girasole, connected with Civitavecchia is Genoa. For routes with other Italian ports it is possible to disembark at Cagliari, to Olbia, to Golfo Aranci and / or a Porto Torres.

From Tortolì it is possible to reach Girasole with the ARST line 301.
