L'Cagliari-Elmas airport (IATA: CAG) is an Italian airport, located in the municipality of Elmas, 6 km northwest of Cagliari.

Cagliari-Elmas airport, named after Mario Mameli, is the main airport of Sardinia, the other two airports are Olbia is Alghero.

The passenger terminal is built on two floors: Arrivals are located on the ground floor, departures are located on the first floor.

There is also a second terminal, dedicated exclusively to general aviation flights.

Flights

From here Alitalia colleague Rome is Milan, respectively the airports of Fiumicino is Linate. Other low cost and scheduled airlines, including Ryanair, Volotea is Easyjet, connect several Italian and European cities.

On the train

• SS 131 Carlo Felice: continue to the "Ospedali-Fiera-Aeroporto" exit, then turn right, immediately right again and take the "Aeroporto" exit. At a roundabout, continue straight on towards the airport. Continue straight ahead and then arrive at a second roundabout, follow the signs continuing straight ahead to arrive at the terminal.
• SS 130: continue to the "Airport" exit, then turn right and continue to your destination.
• SS 195: continue to the "Aeroporto-Sassari-Iglesias" exit, take the SS 195 Racc and continue until the junction with the SS 130. Continue to the "Aeroporto" exit, then turn right and continue to your destination.
• SS 554: continue to the "Sassari-Sestu-Aeroporto" exit, take the latter and take the SS 131 dir in the direction of Sassari. Continue towards "Aeroporto", then, upon reaching a roundabout, continue straight on towards the airport. Continue straight ahead and then arrive at a second roundabout, follow the signs continuing straight ahead to arrive at the terminal.
• NB: instead, to reach the general aviation flight terminal, follow the "General aviation" signs.
