Grunwald (German: Green fields) is a historical place in the voivodeship Warmia-Masuria at the transition of the Allenstein Lake District in the Kulm-Dobrin Lake Districtwho too Löbauer back is called in Poland. The place is known for its memorial to the Battle of Tannenberg of 1410. It is in the historical region Kulmer Land, specifically its eastern part, the Löbauer Land.

The place is southwest of Olsztyn between Olsztynek and Lubawa. You can get here by bus, bike or car.

The place is south of Ostróda. It is a small, but nevertheless very historical place. The famous Battle of Tannenberg took place here on July 15, 1410, during which the Polish-Lithuanian army under King Władysław II Jagiełło defeated the Crusaders. Every year on July 15th, the battle is re-enacted in historical clothing.
