The small town Hartha is located in the middle of the Leipzig – Dresden – Chemnitz triangle, about 4 km west of the Zschopautals.

The B 176 from Bad Lausick and Colditz into the B 175 RochlitzChub. From Leipzig you drive on the A 14 to the exit Quietly and then bypassing Quietly. Coming from Dresden, the approach is also on the A 14, but only until the exit Döbeln-North and then via the Döbelner bypass. If you come from the directions Erfurt or Hof (A 72), take the A 4 via Chemnitz to the exit Hainichen and then about Rossau and Waldheim.

  • Waldheim (4 km southeast) - the Art Nouveau town hall, well worth seeing, directly on the Zschopau. Kriebstein Castle south of Waldheim.
  • Quietly (9 km north, S 36) - small town on the Freiberger Mulde; Mildenstein Castle.
  • Chub (14 km northeast, B 175) - very beautiful city center: renovated because the flood in 2002 was up to 2 m in the city; very nice theater. Two marketplaces and a historic tram.
  • Colditz (15 km to the west, B 176) - Colditz Castle was a prisoner of war camp during World War II, the most prominent prisoner of which was Winston Churchill's nephew Giles Romilly.
  • Mittweida (15 km south, via Aschershain to the S 200) - the city lies like Waldheim an der Zschopau; Evangelical Lutheran City Church “Our Dear Women”.
  • Rochlitz (18 km southwest, B 175) - small town with a castle on the Zwickauer Mulde.
