The Innerstebergland is a sub-region of Southern Lower Saxony, colloquially it is also known as the northwestern Harz foreland. This is the catchment area of the innermost between the Hildesheimer Börde in the north, the Leinebergland in the west and that resin in the south East.

By plane
The nearest airport is that Hanover Airport. From there you can take the A 7 into the region or the S-Bahn to Hannover Hbf and then take the regional express to the region.
By train
The region is served by the two railway lines from Hanover to Goslar and from Braunschweig to Kreiensen.
By bus
The region lies in the area of overlap between the traffic regions Hildesheim, Braunschweig and southern Lower Saxony. The individual locations are easy to get to from the train stations, but it is sometimes a bit difficult to get to the locations from one another.

The region is mainly developed via the A 7 motorway with the Derneburg / Salzgitter, Bockenem, Rhüden and Seesen junctions.
