Koenigsbronn is a city in Baden-Wuerttemberg. It is famous as the residence of the Hitler assassin Georg Elser. It is also known for the Brenz spring pot.

The municipality of Königsbronn is a municipality to the south of the European watershed and is located in the eastern part of the Swabian Alb, the Eastern Alb. To the north, Königsbronn borders on Oberkochen, to the north-east the front Härtsfeld joins, in the direction east-south-east Itzelberg with lake, from where you can continue on the main road 
got to Heidenheim an der Brenz. To the south-south-west lies Stein am Albuch in a former meteorite crater.
Königsbronn is the source of the Brenz, which flows into the Danube near Lauingen.
