- Mountain railways on the Kitzsteinhorn - There are some very interesting mountain railways south of Kaprun. Among other things, the Kaprun III glacier lift, the 3rd section of the cable car to the Kitzsteinhorn special attention, because it leads over the with a height of 113.6 meters highest cable car pillar in the world. - Kaprun high mountain reservoirs - The journey with buses and an inclined elevator takes travelers to the Mooserboden reservoir at 2040 m, which is located in a magnificent high mountain setting with glaciated three-thousand-meter peaks.
