- 1 Katharinenkirche:
- The town church was built in the high Gothic style in 1360 and consecrated to "Saint Catherine" in 1365. The high tower with its pointed helmet is one of the landmarks for Kitzbühel. Inside, the coppersmith altar is particularly worth seeing, it was built between 1513 and 1515. Since the restoration in 1950, it has been used as a war memorial church. Since the restoration there has also been the carillon on the tower, it is played every day at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
- Church of Our Lady. The Gothic church is first mentioned in 1373. In the years 1566 to 1569, the walls of the previously compact west tower were reinforced and the upper tower floors were added to accommodate a large bell, the baroque spire is the hallmark. The baroque interior dates from the years 1738 to 1740 and by the Schwaz master builder Jakob Singer.
- Parish Church of St. Andrew. Built from 1435 to 1506 in the late Gothic style and redesigned in Baroque style in 1785. The tower is from a previous Romanesque building. The high altar inside is worth seeing, created between 1661 and 1663 by Benedikt Faistenberger and Veit Rabl.
- Hospital Church. A first building was consecrated in 1912, the current building was consecrated in 1836/1837.

Hahnenkamm race
The Hahnenkamm race in Kitzbühel, too "Streif" Named after the name of the downhill race track, it is the annual highlight of the Alpine Ski World Cup for all of Austria.
The Ski races take place every year over a weekend in January on the Hahnenkamm, Kitzbühel's local mountain for winter sports that gives it its name. Races are held in all four disciplines: Downhill on the Streif piste, Super-G, slalom on the Ganslernhang and in combination.
While the Kitzbühel ski area also offers difficulties in the middle and easy areas, the descent is valid Streif with an average gradient of 27% to a total of 860 m difference in altitude with steep slopes, inclines and shot routes as the most difficult downhill race track in the world. The absolutely most spectacular part of the Streif is the jump into the extremely steep mousetrap with an incline of 85% (40.4 °) and jump lengths of up to 80 m for the racing drivers, it supposedly got its name from Toni Sailer Senior. The starting point of this downhill piste is the mountain station of the Hahnenkamm cable car, named after the Streif Alm in the upper part. It is also possible for really well-trained "normal skiers" to ski outside of the race days, but there is also the possibility of bypassing the most difficult parts.
As an event, the Hahnenkamm Race is above all a meeting of Austrian and international celebrities who have come especially from the sports shop and in a completely overcrowded Kitzbühel: after the race itself, the whole city center is a big party mile, for the visitors the motto is often "see and be seen" in the foreground.
For the winter sports resort of Kitzbühel, the race is the sporting and social highlight of the entire year with a tradition since 1931, the best tickets for the race are often sold out years in advance (waiting lists), and most of the nightclubs don't come to "everyone" anyway. purely.
