background

Map of Kellenhusen

The place, dominated by family tourism, has a 2 km long beach and is close to the forest (Kellenhusener Forest). Kellenhusen used to be a fishing village. A promenade meanders playfully along the beach. Two prominent observation towers erected at the ends of the promenade complete this. Kellenhusen rightly sees itself as a seaside resort “between forest and waves”. Although there is a lot to offer the guests in the village, it is quite tranquil here. The place is also quite attractive for dog owners. There is not only a dog beach, but also a 2 hectare dog run in the forest.
