Klang Valley is a metropolitan area on the river of the same name in Malaysia around the capital Kuala Lumpur and further west to the coast and south to the airport near Sepang.

In this area in the state of Selangor or the two federal territories Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya 7.5 million people live (as of 2012). The country invests a lot in the region. A special economic zone is to become a model business location. Some of the places like Petaling Jaya are literally sprung up. In addition, there are planned cities such as Putrajaya, the administrative center of the country, as well as illustrious names such as Cyberjaya.

Klang Valley includes the districts here Gombak, Hulu Langat, sound, Kuala Langat, Sepang and Petaling. The two cities Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya are of course also included, but are administratively independent federal territories.

- The new Kuala Lumpur Airport
(IATA: KUL)(Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Kuala Lumpur) of Kuala Lumpur is in the Klang Valley. It is 50 kilometers from the capital in the south of the region, at the gates of the city Sepang. All cities of the Klang Valley can be reached quickly via highways. For example, you can be in about 40-45 minutes sound. The capital is also about 50-60 minutes away. A train line connects the airport with Kuala Lumpur. Some of the trains run through to the Kl Sentral station, while some also stop in Malaysia's administrative center on the way Putrajaya. The airport is also served by Southeast Asia's largest low-cost airline, Air Asia. But it has its own terminal (LCCT). The journey there takes a different route and must be communicated to the taxi drivers beforehand. - To the west of Kuala Lumpur is the city's former international airport, the Kuala Lumpur Airport - Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah(IATA: SZB)Lapangan Terbang Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah, Chinese: 苏丹阿 都 阿兹沙 机场).
