Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok county - the county in the central eastern part Hungarian, divided into two parts by the river Tisza. To the north it borders with Heves County and on a short length z Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county, to the east it borders with Hajdú-Bihar counties and Békés, from the south with Csongrád County, from the south-west - with Bács-Kiskun, from the west with - Pest County. It belongs to the EU's "Northern Hungarian Plain" (Észak-Alföld) statistical region.
