The small town Laucha is located in the wine-growing region of Saale-Unstrut region, in the lower valley of the Unstrut.

Laucha is about 30 km from the nearest Highways, namely the A 9 Berlin – Munich (Exit 21 Naumburg) and the A 38 Göttingen – Leipzig, exits Querfurt or Braunsbedra, away.

The 1 Laucha train station is operated by the Unstruttalbahn, which runs between Naumburg and Cheeks (unstrut) above Nebra Runs every hour, served.
