The small town Laucha is located in the wine-growing region of Saale-Unstrut region, in the lower valley of the Unstrut.

getting there
Laucha is about 30 km from the nearest Highways, namely the A 9 Berlin – Munich (Exit 21 Naumburg) and the A 38 Göttingen – Leipzig, exits Querfurt or Braunsbedra, away.
The 1 Laucha train station is operated by the Unstruttalbahn, which runs between Naumburg and Cheeks (unstrut) above Nebra Runs every hour, served. It is operated by Abellio Mitteldeutschland, a subsidiary of the Nieddrländische Staatsbahn. In Naumburg there is a connection to the national rail network.

- 1 St. Mary, market. late Gothic hall church from the late 15th century with a 55 meter high church tower that characterizes the cityscape.
