The network "Garden Dreams - Historic Parks in Saxony-Anhalt" provides 50 parks in Saxony-Anhalt which on the one hand represent a breadth of palace parks and city parks to botanical gardens, on the other hand stand for the respective period of origin.
The project sees itself as a "network" for the joint presentation of the parks. The common logo is used on signs and information boards, but not on a set route. There is also a marketing platform within the tourism strategy of the state of Saxony-Anhalt.
The order of the parks is therefore ultimately arbitrary. Mostly it is classified regionally.

Altmark
- Castle and Castle Park Krumke, Parkstrasse, 39606 Osterburg / OT Krumke. Tel.: (0)3937-895012. Originally a baroque park from the 18th century, in the 19th century it was dominated by a 12 hectare English landscape park. The now standing Krumke Castle is also 19th century on the foundations of earlier buildings. The park itself is freely accessible. The castle is privately owned and cannot be visited.
- Gardelegen ramparts. Tel.: (0)3907-716231 (for guided tours). The ramparts enclose the old town of Guards complete and are the most completely preserved systems of this type in Saxony-Anhalt. Created in the 16th century for protection and defenses, in the 19th century when the fortifications were abandoned, the ramparts and moats were kept free of buildings and gradually designed as a green corridor that surrounds the city for a length of almost three kilometers.Open: freely accessible.
New Castle, Tangerhütte

The city park is an approximately 20 hectare park in the southeast of the city of Tangerhütte. Its layout goes back to the founder of the metal works that later gave the city its name and who built the park around the Old lock and later a representative one in the park New lock let create. The ensemble consists of a mansion in the style of the late renaissance, manor and chapel, surrounded by a landscape park laid out in the 19th century. The complex belonged to the von Bismarck family for 600 years, who took it over and renovated it after the fall of the Wall.Open: Park freely accessible.
Magdeburg Börde

In the possession of the von Veltheim family for 600 years, the approximately 10 hectare park has both baroque and English landscape elements. The castle and the manor are largely in ruins and cordoned off. The Castle Church of St. Levin contains a valuable baroque organ.Open: Park freely accessible all year round.Price: free entry.
- Hundisburg Palace and Baroque Garden, Althaldensleben Landscape Park, Castle, 39343 Hundisburg. Tel.: (0)390 462431 (for guided tours). That south not far from Haldensleben The ensemble of a baroque castle and around 5 hectares of baroque castle gardens dates from the first half of the 18th century. In the 19th century, the ensemble was expanded to include an English landscape park in the direction of Althaldensleben. In East Elbe City park from the 19th century in the style of an English landscape park, in which there are leisure and recreational opportunities such as a horse racing track and a hotel. A city park laid out on an Elbeinsel in the 19th century and expanded in the 1920s, which enjoys great popularity as a local recreation area due to its quiet location close to the city center. - Klosterbergegarten with Elbe and Gruson greenhouses, Schönebecker Strasse, 39104 Magdeburg. Tel.: 49 391 40 42 910 (for guided tours). Located on Magdeburg's west bank of the Elbe, it can be reached via the Star bridge, an imposing arched bridge from the late 19th century, the island of Rotehorn, on which the Klosterbergegarten, a landscape park from the 19th century, on a devastated monastery site, the former Monastery mountains, created by Peter Josef Lenné (1789-1866). Of the original 33 hectares of the English-style complex, around 11 hectares have been preserved, the rest has been nibbled by the industrialization and expansion of the city. On the western edge are the Gruson greenhouses, which house a collection of tropical and subtropical plants by the Magdeburg industrialist Hermann Gruson (1821-1895). In an incorporated suburb of Ilsenburg is the monastery complex with 1000 years of history. The monastery church of St. Vitus in its current form was built in the 12th century, it is also the destination of the Romanesque Road. The monastery gardens are a facility from the early 18th century, when the Counts of Stolberg-Wernigerode set up a women's monastery in the monastery building.
