Levin is a small town in the region Manawatu-Wanganui on the North island of (New Zealand). It is the administrative seat of the Horowhenua district.

The city of Levin is located on an agricultural plain between the west coast and the mountain range Tararua Range.
getting there
By plane
The nearest airport is in Palmerston North and just under 60 minutes away by car. From there there are connections to the international airports in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Wellington Airport can be reached in around 100 minutes by car.
By train
- 1 Capital Connection. The passenger train runs once a day in the morning from Monday to Friday Palmerston North and Shannon coming over Otaki, Waikanae and Paraparaumu to Wellington and once a day in the evening back from Wellington to Palmerston North via the aforementioned stations. There is no train connection on weekends and on public holidays.
By bus
- 2 InterCity, Stop on Bath Street nearby at Te Takere. Several times a day towards the south over Paraparaumu and Porirua until after Wellington. A daily connection in a northerly direction via Palmerston North and Wanganui to New Plymouth. To do this, a connection, among other things, via Dannevirke to Hastings and Napier. Four daily connections over Taupo and Rotorua, a line goes further behind Tauranga and three after Auckland.
