Mabul

Mabul is an island in the Celebes Sea in the state Sabah in Malaysia. The island is located off the east coast of the state Borneo

getting there

Arrival by plane to Tawau (Borneo). Onward journey by bus to Semporna. From there you can take a boat to the island of Mabul.

mobility

The island is so small that it can be circled in just under 45 minutes.

Tourist Attractions

No noteworthy sights on the island. However, the area around the island of Mabul and Sipadan is famous for the excellent diving areas.
