Miechów is a historic city in the voivodeship Lesser Poland on the medieval trade route from Krakow to Kielce, about a day's ride from Krakow. To the west it closes Krakow-Czestochowa Jura and northeast that Heiligkreuzgebirge at. The place is on the Mechau plateau and is best known for its historic old town.
