The town is located at the end of the Pordenone Po Valley between the Cellina stream, Mount Fara and Mount Spia.

Background

Montereale Valcellina is today a small town, but its origins are very ancient. The finds from the Bronze Age and the Early Iron Age found in the area of ​​the Paleovenetian necropolis of Dominu confirm the antiquity of human settlement up to the fourteenth century BC.
