Pordenone is a city of Friuli Venezia Giulia, capital of the homonymous province.
To know
It is the main center of the Right Tagliamento (area corresponding to western Friuli), and the third by population in the region, after Trieste is Udine.

- Pordenonelegge.it - Book festival with the authors. It is a 5-day literary festival that takes place in September in the heart of the city.
- Days of silent cinema (Pordenone Silent Film Festival). It is an 8-day film festival that takes place every year in October in the Giuseppe Verdi municipal theater. Entirely dedicated to silent cinema, in 2015 it reached its 35th edition.
