Follow in the footsteps of Christian missionaries in Schleswig-Holstein. The monk route leads you right through Schleswig-Holstein - of Glückstadt on the Elbe until after Fehmarn on the Baltic Sea.

The cycle path follows the traces of Schleswig-Holstein's church history, which goes back to the eighth century after the birth of Christ.

By bicycle

  • Via the North Sea Cycle Route (on a par with the Elbe Cycle Route) from Hamburg to Glückstadt over Elmshorn along the Elbe estuary.

In the street

  • From Hamburg via the A23 to the Hohenfelde exit (12), from there via Krempe to Glückstadt.
