The Lower Oder Valley National Park is lying in German-polish Border area. The park protects parts of the valuable Oder meadows.

The 10,418 hectare national park was established in 1995. In 2004 around 150,000 visitors came to the park. On the Polish side, there has been a 6,000 hectare "landscape protection park" since 1993, which connects to the German protected area on the border.

Tourist Attractions
- Bird migration in spring and autumn: around 10,000 cranes, but also around 100,000 ducks and geese use the polder meadows of the national park as a resting place on their trains.
