getting there

By train from Lausanne and Geneva via Yverdon, from Basel-Delsberg and Zurich-Olten via Biel. The public transport connections within the canton are sometimes cumbersome and lengthy; in particular, there is no quick connection between La Chaux-de-Fonds and Neuchâtel; Express buses are not allowed to pass through the motorway tunnel, as this could obstruct private traffic. The journey by public transport on this route takes twice as long.
