Neuhaus an der Pegnitz is a Middle Franconian Market in the Hersbrucker Alb in the district of Nürnberger Land. The place lies on the river Pegnitz, the castle towers over the place. The Pegnitztal and its side valleys offer many hiking trails with karst rocks and caves in the deciduous forest. The famous climbing rock offers tours of all levels of difficulty. The traditional communal brewers offer a snack and a home-brewed beer.
