Niedereschach is a city on the eastern edge of the Middle Black Forest.

Niedereschach was first mentioned in a document in 1086. In the course of its history it belonged to the monasteries of Gengenbach and St. Georgen and also to the city of Rottweil, then in 1806 it first came to Württemberg, in 1810 the place became Baden. During the community reform around 1975, the formerly independent villages Fischbach, Kappel and Schabenhausen were incorporated.

Neighboring cities and towns are Koenigsfeld, Villingen-Schwenningen, Dauchingen, Rooms above Rottweil and Deißlingen.
