Nyker is a small place on Bornholm.

Nyker is about 7 km northeast of Rønne and is especially known for the Ny Kirke, one of the four preserved round churches on Bornholm.

On the cycle path from Rønne to Nyker

Coming from Rønne, first follow the 159 towards Hasle / Allinge, then shortly after leaving the village turn right towards Nyker / Klemensker. Approx. 7 km.

By bicycle

From Rønne to Nyker you cycle very quietly and in a beautiful landscape on the old railway embankment (bike route 23, approx. 7 km). It continues via Klemensker (accompanying cycle path on the country road) and Rø through the interior to the northeast coast at the Helligdomklipperne.

Nyker is a small place and can be explored quickly on foot. There is a larger car park at the church, and from there it is only a few steps to the workshop and studio of Bente Hammer, the second attraction in the center of Nyker. To Bornholms Rovfugleshow, turn left past the church and then right at the end of this path.

1 Ny Kirke - the round church from the 12th century is the youngest and smallest of the four round churches on Bornholm.

Here in Nyker she has a small shop as well as her workshop where you can watch how she prints the lengths of fabric by hand.
