Oodnadatta is a small place in the outback of South Australia.

getting there

Pink Roadouse

Oodnadatta can only be reached on dirt roads. From Stuart Highway There are three roads leading to it: From Marla (207 km) the northern part of the Oodnadatta tracks, from Cadney Homestead (172 km) the Ankata Painted Desert Road and from Coober Pedy (193 km) the Kempe Road. From the west of the Oodnadatta Track of Marree (406 km) about William Creek (202 km) and from the north of the Old Ghan Railway Heritage Trail out Finke, Northern Territory (356 km) about Mt Dare, South Australia (240 km).

Arrival is also possible with your own or rented sports aircraft.

The village has a police station, a small hospital, a telecenter and one General Store.
