Pińczów is a historic city on the Nida in the voivodeship Holy Cross on the medieval trade route from Krakow to Kielce. To the west it closes Krakow-Czestochowa Jura and northeast that Heiligkreuzgebirge at. The place is mostly for the renaissance architecture Santi Guccis and known as the center of the Calvinist Reformation in Poland. In the middle of the 16th century, the only Calvinist university in Poland-Lithuania was located here, where the entire Bible was translated from the original languages into Polish for the first time.
