Kagawa Prefecture (香 川 県) is a prefecture on the island of Shikoku.

Geographical notes

Kagawa prefecture is located in the north ofShikoku island. It borders the prefectures of Ehime and Tokushima and the Seto Inland Sea. On the opposite side is the Okayama Prefecture. It is the narrowest prefecture in Japan. But it is also the smallest prefecture by area.
