Przemyśl Mountains - Przemyśl-Gebirge

The Przemyśl promontory is a foothills in the Central Beskid promontory in the voivodeship Subcarpathianthat are located north to the Bieszczady and Forest Carpathians adjoins and in the north to Sandomir Basin enough. The Suchy Obycz is the highest mountain at 618 m.

The area is well developed for tourism. You can arrive via Rzeszów.

mobility

There is a dense network of hiking trails. Buses go to many places in the mountains. The area is large, but sparsely populated and therefore still pretty wild and natural. The only major road is the eastern end of the Landstrasse 28.

At the beginning of the First World War, bitter fighting raged in the mountains between the advancing Russian army and the army of Austria-Hungary. Therefore, there are numerous military cemeteries from the First World War here.
