Regnitz - 162 km long river in Germany, in the federal state Bavaria, in regencies Middle Franconia and Upper Franconia.
Characteristic
Regnitz flows between the mountains Steigerwald and Fränkische Schweiz. Its beginning is in Fürth at the junction of the rivers Rednitz and Pegnitz and its outlet to Menu behind Bamberg. Runs along the Rhine-Main-Danube canal, is partially identical with it. IN Forchheim flows into Regnitz Wiesent.
