Rożnów - Rożnów

Rożnów is a Begort in Poland in the southern voivodeship Lesser Poland southeast of Krakow by doing Rożnów Mountains, a promontory of Beskydy Mountains, at the Dunajecwho is here for Rożnów Reservoir is jammed.

The place and the castle date from the 13th century. With the First Partition of Poland in 1772 he came to the Habsburg kingdom of Galicia and Lodomeria, which remained until the First World War.
