The small community of Rosenberg is located in the middle of the building land. The districts of Bronnacker, Hirschlanden and Sindolsheim belong to Rosenberg. With the neighboring towns Osterburken and Ravenstein there is an administrative community, other neighboring towns are Beeches (Odenwald), Hardheim, the Walldürner District Altheim as well Maple (bathing).

Rosenberg lies on the route of the Frankenbahn between Osterburken and Lauda, the regional trains stop at 1 Rosenberg station Monday to Friday only. the stop in Hirschlanden is out of order.

The place is on the B292, which from Mosbach over Osterburken comes and after Boxberg and continues into the Taubertal. To the highway A81 AS Symbol: AS 5 and AS Symbol: AS 6 it is around 10 km each.

anecdote What is a customs brewery?
In Germany, the brewing of beer is taxable if the output is more than 2 hectoliters per year. These Beer tax is levied by customs, but is due to the federal states. Any company that has to pay beer tax. is therefore a Custom brewery.

Apart from the houses of worship, the rural communities have no special sights. A new town hall has stood in Rosenberg for a few years, there are several historical buildings in Sindolsheim, and there is also a Bach nature trail there.
A specialty is the restaurant in the Hirschlanden district Hirschbräu town hall, it is operated as a "communal pub", the proceeds of which go to the museum association. It is open on Saturdays from 7 p.m., in winter from 6 p.m. and on Sundays on which the Town Hall Museum has opened. The restaurant calls itself the smallest customs brewery in Germany.
