Around

To the east is the Salzkammergut region, with mountain landscapes and numerous lakes. It is more convenient to get there by car. Among the buses traveling the region (hours), number 150 runs between Mirabellplatz in Salzburg and Bad Ischl (h 30 for the entire trip). Trains also run in the area, but going from Salzburg to Bad Ischl or Hallstatt will take you a detour.
