Saint Wolfgang is a market in Salzkammergut, Upper Austria, on the border to Salzburg and has about 2,700 inhabitants. The climatic health resort is one of the most important tourist centers in the region and is located directly on the Wolfgangsee.

Sankt Wolfgang is located on the north bank of the Wolfgangsee at the foot of the 1782 m high Schafberg. The place is named after the Saint Wolfgangwho lived here around 976.
