The village Sent is lying in Engadine on a sun terrace on the left side of the valley. The village is located at a good 1,450 m above sea level. M.

getting there
Sent can be easily reached by public transport by post bus from Bahnhofplatz from Scuol-Tarasp, from where the buses wind their way up the mountain to the sun terrace in around 13 minutes after a journey across Scuol with boarding options at the post office or at the bath.
- Arrival from Zurich with the Swiss Federal Railway SBB to Landquart. There you get on the direct trains Scuol-Tarasp, which set off on the tracks of the Rhaetian Railway RhB. The terminus can be reached via Klosters-Vereina-Saglians Scuol-Trasp comfortably on a delightful journey through Graubünden and Lower Engadine.
- From St. Moritz and Samedan or. Zernez you can also take direct RhB trains from the Upper Engadin to Scuol-Tarasp.
From the end of the train station Scuol-Tarasp changes to the Postbus with the destination Sent at the adjacent bus station on Bahnhofplatz. Tickets can be bought at any time or are available from the chauffeur on the bus.
- From Austria you get on in the train station Landeck take the Arlberg line and use the post bus to Scuol-Tarasp and then change to the post bus to Sent.
You travel over from German-speaking Switzerland by car Landquart, Monastery, Vereina tunnel (RhB car loading) to Scuol. Those arriving from Munich drive over Garmisch and the Fernpass. On the Arlberg motorway from Innsbruck you branch off in Landeck off towards Switzerland. If you want to reach Sent from Italy, you have several options via Bolzano-Brenner-Innsbruck, via Meran-Reschenpass or via Meran over the Ofenpass and in Zernez towards Scuol.
Travelers by bike come via the Inn Cycle Path along to Scuol. Then it's a good 3 km Stradella vers Scuol up sent high. Sent is located on the Obersdorf - Lake Garda Transal Route and can be reached by mountain bike from Ischgl via the Fimber Pass.

Sent is best explored on foot. Various hiking trails also lead from the village (see activities) in the surrounding mountains and along the slopes. Various PostBus lines also bring hikers to the starting points of various beautiful routes.

Buildings
The village center offers some really worth seeing old ones Engadine houses. There are also three smaller squares and the village square with a fountain, which create an idyllic Engadine backdrop.
church
- San Lurench. The village church of St. Lorenz dates from the 15th century and is built in the late Gothic Bündner style. The acoustics are excellent, which is why many concerts take place in the church. The top of the tower is made of glass and is brightly lit at night. The tourist office or the numerous notices in the village provide information on this.
Museums
- Alberto Giacometti Museum. The museum brings together over 200 mainly graphic exhibits by the artist Alberto Giacometti.
- Museum Sent. The museum shows the traditional way of living in an Engadine house.
Sculpture park
A special feature can be found unmistakably on the right before the village entrance from Scuol: the private sculpture park "Not dal Mot" by the internationally renowned artist Not vitalwho also bought Tarasp Castle in 2015. About 12 large objects / houses with a special background can be experienced, including a symbolic but accessible house which can disappear hydraulically into the ground, two "donkey bridges" that you can cross - if you dare, a floating theater stage with the Lower Engadine -Dolomite panorama in the background and other very interesting exhibition objects. In the summer season there is a guided tour twice a week (Tuesday and Friday), exact dates can be viewed at Sent tourism or at the Bergperle guesthouse, which also keeps friends of the artist regularly and has information about Not Vital and his work ready.

In Sent itself there is almost everything you need. In the center there are two butchers, two bakeries, a dairy and a grocery store (Volg) that sells all the necessary goods, groceries and consumables.
