Sesslach is a city in Upper Franconia in Bavaria, in the Coburg country. The medieval half-timbered town is known for its historical ambience, with a completely preserved city wall and many refreshment stops.

The nearest train station is in Coburg, about 15 km away. From the main station, opposite the main exit of the station building, a bus runs several times a day to Seßlach. At the weekend the bus runs less, departure times at OVF Coburg sales office, Tel. 49 9561 76009

Via the federal road 4 Bamberg - Coburg, turn off at Kaltenbrunn to Seßlach, or via the federal road 303 Schweinfurt - Coburg, turn off at Dietersdorf to Seßlach, or turn off at Eicha and via Witzmannsberg to Seßlach.

- The Franconian Bible path starting in front of the Pallottine palace in Untermerzbach and leading for approx. 9 km to Seßlach. On the way there are a total of twelve wooden figures from the Old and New Testament as well as the related Bible passages.
- Pilgrims have been striving for it since the 15th century Fourteen saints. The Pilgrimage from Seßlach to Vierzehnheiligen is 21 km long.

The Seßlacher 1 Communal brewery is unique in the wide area. Brewing is done with the simplest of means, the right to brew beer has existed since 1335. On "Fasstag", home brewers come to collect their beer in suitable containers, such as barrels, glass balloons, canisters, etc. It was not long ago that beer was made for the inn Reinwand carried across the Maximiliansplatz in Butten. Today it is brought more hygienically via a pipeline from the brewery to the inn, where it can ferment and mature in the vaulted cellar.
