Thanks to its position overlooking the Lake Garda, Tignale is a renowned destination for Italian and European tourism. During the summer, the small hamlets that make up the municipality are very popular with German, Dutch, Danish and Italian tourists. A typical product of Tignale is lo spongadì, a dessert very similar to spongade of the Valcamonica. Another typical dish (in general, from the Brescia area) is the spit, consisting of birds, meat, potatoes, sage and accompanied with wholemeal polenta mixed with buckwheat, sometimes seasoned with cheese and butter (polenta cusà).
