In the street
Since Wangerooge is car-free, day and overnight guests who arrive by car have to leave their car on the mainland. Standard is the journey by ferry and island train: see www.siw-wangerooge.de.
By plane
Another possibility is with the LFH Inselflieger air fleet. They come to Wangerooge and the other East Frisian Islands almost every hour www.inselflieger.de.
By train
The next possibility to connect to the SPNV is at Esens station on the RB59 railway line, Ostfriesische Uferbahn (Wilhelmshaven - Jever - Wittmund - Esens). From there you continue to the island by bus and boat. The advantage here compared to traveling by car is that you save parking.
