Worth seeing

The city has the Museum of the City and the Warta River. Stanisław Skarżyński was born in Warta - a pilot who, alone, on May 8, 1933, crossed the Atlantic on a Polish plane RWD-5bis (he flew in a suit, not a pilot suit), setting a world flight distance record. His monument with a bust was erected in Warta, and the museum has a large, permanent exhibition dedicated to his memory.
