  • In the years 1810 - 1825 a new residence was built for the then owners of Małków and Bartochów - the last castellan of Sieradz and a brigadier of the national cavalry - Paweł Biernacki (1740-1826) and his wife Konstancja née Małachowska (1773-1842). Until then, they lived in Bartochów, and they bought the property in 1788 from Feliks Walerian Łubieński. The seat was probably designed by the chief architect of Warsaw Fryderyk Lessel (1767-1822), who also built a residence in nearby Gzikowo for Józef Lipski.
  • After the Biernacki family, the owners of Małków were Stanisław Pstrokoński from Rozdżała (from 1875), and in 1895 it passed into the hands of Maria Pstrokońska and her mother Walentyna, who sold it in 1929 to Adam H. Krzyżanowski with the right to life imprisonment. Walentyna and Maria Pstrokoński invited representatives of science, culture and art to Małków. They hosted, among others, Władysław Reymont, Stanisław Jagmin - sculptor, Czesław Tański - painter and aviation pioneer (he painted the "Dawn" plafond in the living room of the palace), Antoni Kanieński - the first draftsman "Tygodnik Ilustrowany"Józef Rapacki - creator of landscapes and genre scenes, Melania Mutermilch - painter and Zygmunt Andrychiewicz - painter, living here permanently since 1921, whose paintings include in museums in Warta and Sieradz.
  • During World War II, in 1941, the manor was taken over by the Germans and the works of art that had been collected for years were plundered.
  • After the war, the palace was run by the Warta Psychiatric Hospital and brought it to ruin.

In the 1980sTechnical University of Lodz she tried unsuccessfully to arrange a creative work house here. In 1996, the palace and park were purchased by Halina Łuczak, and from her in 2001 by a family of businessmen named Ptak, who carried out a thorough renovation of the monument.
